Do you use a credit card?  I do, yet as a financial counselor I recommend restraint to some while recommending others don’t even get a credit card.  why this double standard on credit cards?  It is easy.  Some credit card consumers can handle it and other consumers will never be able to handle having the plastic card in their pocket.

You have to figure it out for yourself.  Can you handle your finances in a way or do you have lack the ability?  Be smart here, the only person you are helping or hurting is yourself.  If you are thinking about getting an American Express credit card or any other credit card make sure you can use it and pay it off every month.

Don’t ever be pate on your payments, and never spend more than you can payoff that month.   Be smart with your credit cards, you will save thousands yearly.
